The Mahindra EmpowerHer Scholarship Program 2026–27 has been introduced to provide financial assistance to meritorious girl students from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Other Backward Class (OBC) communities. The initiative, offered by Mahindra & Mahindra Limited, aims to support eligible students in continuing their education without financial hardship.
Under the scholarship program, each selected scholar will receive a fixed scholarship amount of INR 5,500. The opportunity is available to eligible girl students across India who meet the prescribed academic and family-income criteria.

Who Can Apply for the Scholarship?
The scholarship is open to PAN India girl students belonging to the SC, ST or OBC communities. Eligible applicants can either be studying in school or pursuing general undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
For school students, the program covers those studying in Classes 9 to 12. This provides an opportunity for eligible girls at the secondary and higher-secondary levels to receive financial support toward continuing their education.
The scholarship also covers students enrolled in general undergraduate courses. Examples of eligible courses include B.A., B.A. (Hons.), B.Sc. and B.Com.
In addition, students pursuing general postgraduate courses can apply. The listed postgraduate courses include M.A., M.A. (Hons.), M.Sc. and M.Com.
Academic Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the academic performance requirement specified under the Mahindra EmpowerHer Scholarship Program 2026–27.
Eligible students must have secured at least 50% marks in their previous academic year or semester. Therefore, applicants are required to demonstrate the minimum academic performance before applying for the scholarship.
The requirement applies to students seeking the scholarship while studying in the eligible school, undergraduate or postgraduate categories.
Family Income Requirement
Along with the academic criteria, the scholarship program also has a family-income condition.
The annual family income from all sources must not exceed INR 4,00,000. Applicants whose family income falls within this prescribed limit can be considered for the scholarship, provided they also satisfy the other eligibility requirements.
