The Panasonic Ratti Chhatr Scholarship 2026-27, an initiative by Panasonic Life Solutions India, has been introduced to provide financial assistance to eligible first-year B.E./B.Tech students studying at any Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). The scholarship is designed to support students from low-income families by offering ₹70,250 per year during their engineering education.

Financial Assistance Under the Scholarship

Under the Panasonic Ratti Chhatr Scholarship 2026-27, selected students will receive annual financial assistance of ₹70,250.

According to the scholarship details, the financial support will continue until 2028, with the possibility of an extension.

The scholarship aims to help deserving engineering students continue their education at IITs by reducing their financial burden.

Who Can Apply?

The scholarship is open to students from all parts of India who meet the prescribed eligibility conditions.

Applicants must have secured admission to a B.E. or B.Tech programme at any Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) for the academic session 2026-27.

In addition, candidates must have passed their Class 12 examination with at least 75% marks.

Another important requirement is that the annual family income from all sources must not exceed ₹8,00,000.

The scholarship is available only for students belonging to the 2026-27 admission batch.
