Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2026-27: Girls to Get Rs 1.5 Lakh Per Year, Apply by August 31

The Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2026-27 is a CSR initiative by Kotak Mahindra Group companies and Kotak Education Foundation aimed at supporting meritorious girl students from underprivileged backgrounds in pursuing professional higher education.

Under the scholarship, eligible students can receive financial assistance of ₹1.5 lakh per year until they complete their professional graduation degree, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.

Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2026-27: Eligibility

The scholarship is open to meritorious girl students across India who meet the following criteria:

  • Applicants must be girl students who have scored 75% or more, or an equivalent CGPA, in their Class 12 board examination.

  • Candidates must have secured admission to the first year of a professional graduation programme for the academic year 2026-27.

  • Eligible courses include Engineering, MBBS, Architecture, Design, Integrated LLB, and other professional graduation programmes.

  • The course must be offered by an NIRF/NAAC-accredited institute.

  • The applicant's annual family income must not exceed ₹6 lakh.

  • Children of employees of Kotak Mahindra Group, Kotak Education Foundation and Buddy4Study are not eligible to apply.

    • Scholarship Amount

    Selected students will receive ₹1.5 lakh per year until completion of their professional graduation degree.

    The scholarship amount is subject to the terms and conditions and the discretion of Kotak Education Foundation.

    Application Deadline

    The last date to apply for the Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2026-27 is August 31, 2026.

    Eligible candidates should complete the online application process before the deadline.
