NEET UG Result 2026 Out: Download Scorecard, Check Toppers, Cut-Off, AIR & Merit List

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially declared the NEET UG Result 2026 on July 16, 2026. The results have been announced on schedule to ensure that the counselling and admission process for MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, B.Sc. Nursing, BVSc & AH, and other allied medical courses begins without delay.

Candidates who appeared for the examination can now download their scorecards from the official website neet.nta.nic.in.

• Exam Name: National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2026

Over 11.21 Lakh Candidates Qualify

Around 20 lakh candidates appeared for NEET UG 2026, making it one of the largest entrance examinations in the country. Out of them, 11.21 lakh candidates have qualified for admission to undergraduate medical, dental, AYUSH, and allied health science programmes.

Women Outperform Men

One of the major highlights of this year's examination is the outstanding performance of female candidates.

• More than 58% of all qualified candidates are women.

• 56.8% of women who appeared qualified.

Top Scorers in NEET UG 2026

A total of 138 candidates scored above 690 marks out of 720.

Among them:

• Over 93% were first-time NEET aspirants

• Nearly 99% are between 17 and 19 years of age

Highest Score

The highest score of 715 out of 720 was jointly secured by:

• Aryan Gupta (Punjab)

• Panshul Bansal (Haryana)

Score Distribution

The overall performance statistics are impressive:

• 19 candidates scored above 700

• 138 candidates scored above 690

• 1,492 candidates scored 650 and above

State-Wise Performance

Qualified candidates belong to all 36 States and Union Territories.

Some notable State/UT toppers include:

• Ladakh: Jigmet Yangchan Lamo – 530 marks

• Andaman & Nicobar Islands: Dhruv Tripathi – 606 marks

Additionally:

• 17 State toppers scored 700 or above

The top 138 rankers belong to 66 different cities across India.
