JKPSC Extends Application Deadline for Assistant Professor, Librarian & College Director Posts; Apply by September 14, 2026

The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has announced an extension of the last date for submitting online applications for several posts in the Higher Education Department of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to a notice issued by the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission on August 28, 2026, candidates will now be able to submit their online application forms for the concerned posts up to September 14, 2026.

JKPSC Extends Online Application Deadline

The extension applies to recruitment for the posts of Assistant Professor(s), Librarian (GCET) under backlog vacancies, Assistant Professor, College Director of Physical Education & Sports, and Librarians in the Government Colleges under the Higher Education Department of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

With the latest notice, the JKPSC has extended the last date for filling and submitting the online application forms for the posts covered under these notifications.
