Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), a Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, has officially released the HPCL Graduate Apprentice Recruitment 2026 notification for the engagement of Graduate Apprentice Trainees (Engineering) under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The apprenticeship will be conducted across various locations in India under HPCL's Marketing Division. HPCL is inviting applications from graduates in the following branches:
Civil Engineering

Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in the relevant discipline from a recognized University or Institution.
Minimum marks required:
General/OBC-NCL: 60%
SC/ST/PwBD: 50%
Candidates who completed their engineering degree on or after 1 September 2023 are eligible to apply. Those who graduated before this date are not eligible.
Age Limit
As on 31 July 2026:
Minimum Age: 18 Years
Maximum Age: 25 Years
Age relaxation:
SC/ST: 5 Years
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years
PwBD: 10 Years
Monthly Stipend
Selected Graduate Apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹25,000.
₹20,500 will be paid by HPCL.
₹4,500 will be paid by the Government of India through DBT under the apprenticeship scheme.

Selection Process
The selection process includes:
Screening based on academic merit.
Preparation of a merit list.
Document verification.

Execution of apprenticeship agreement.
Only eligible candidates will be shortlisted for document verification. No written examination has been announced for this apprenticeship engagement.
