BGSBU Postpones Examinations Till July 24 Due to Heavy Rain, Flash Flood Threat

Rajouri, July 19: Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU), Rajouri, has postponed all examinations scheduled up to July 24, 2026, in view of the prevailing inclement weather, heavy rainfall and flash flood situation across parts of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to an official notification issued by the university, a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS, the decision has been taken as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of students, faculty and staff.

The notification states that all university examinations scheduled up to July 24, 2026, shall remain postponed.

The university has advised students to regularly follow official notifications regarding the revised examination schedule, which will be announced separately. (JKNS)
