First, understand what you are asking for

These two options sound similar but are not the same, and choosing the wrong one wastes both time and money:

• Re-checking (or re-totalling): officials confirm that every answer was marked and the totals were added correctly. No answer is re-judged. It is cheaper and faster.
• Re-evaluation: a fresh examiner reviews your answers again. This can change marks up or down and usually costs more.

Move inside the window

Re-evaluation windows are short — sometimes just a few days after results. Preparation is everything:

1. Note the exact opening and closing dates the moment results are declared.
