SKUAST Kashmir Recruitment 2026: Online Applications Invited for Contractual/Guest Lecturers in 31 Disciplines
SKUAST Kashmir has invited online applications for Contractual/Guest Lecturer engagement for Academic Session 2026-27 across 31 disciplines.

The Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K) has invited online applications from eligible and interested candidates for engagement as Contractual/Guest Lecturers for the Academic Session 2026-27.
According to the university notice issued by the Director Education, the engagements will be made on a need-based academic arrangement in various disciplines. The recruitment covers faculties and academic areas related to agriculture, horticulture, veterinary science, agricultural engineering, fisheries and sericulture.
The university has opened the application process online from August 10, 2026, while the last date for submission of applications is August 17, 2026. The application fee has been fixed at ₹500 per discipline.
SKUAST Kashmir Lecturer Vacancies and Disciplines
The notice lists 31 disciplines for the contractual/guest lecturer engagement.
At the Faculty of Agriculture, Wadura, the discipline listed is Plant Pathology.
Under the Faculty of Horticulture, Shalimar, the disciplines include:

Plant Biotechnology
The Faculty of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Shuhama has a larger number of disciplines covered under the notice. These include:

The listed areas include Basic Engineering and Applied Sciences (Mechanical Engineering), Electronics and Communication Engineering, Fisheries Economics, and Sericulture.
Essential Qualification
SKUAST Kashmir has specified two eligibility routes for candidates applying for these academic engagements.
Under Eligibility A, candidates must possess a Master's degree with 55% marks, or an equivalent grade in OGPA or a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed, in the concerned, relevant or allied subject from an Indian university. An equivalent degree
