JKBOSE Announces Re-evaluation & Photocopy Dates for Class 10th, 11th and 12th Exams 2026

The Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has issued a notification inviting eligible candidates of the Secondary School Examination (Class 10th), Higher Secondary Part-I (Class 11th) and Higher Secondary Part-II (Class 12th) Annual Private/Bi-annual 2026 to apply online for photocopies and re-evaluation of their answer scripts.

The notification applies to candidates from the Summer/Winter Zone of the Jammu Division. According to the official notice, eligible students seeking to obtain photocopies of their answer scripts and/or have their answer scripts re-evaluated can submit their applications online through the JKBOSE official website.

JKBOSE Re-evaluation and Photocopy Applications

JKBOSE has specified separate schedules for submitting online forms for re-evaluation and photocopies of answer scripts. Candidates are required to follow the dates mentioned in the notification while submitting their applications.

The online link for submitting forms for re-evaluation and photocopy of answer scripts will open on September 1, 2026.

For candidates applying specifically to obtain a photocopy of their answer script, the last date for submitting the form is September 6, 2026.

The notification further states that the last date for filling re-evaluation forms is September 9, 2026. Candidates seeking either service are therefore advised to complete the applicable online process within the specified schedule.

Application Fees for Re-evaluation and Photocopies

The board has also prescribed separate fees for re-evaluation and photocopies of answer scripts.

According to the notification, the fee for re-evaluation is Rs. 580 per answer script. Candidates requesting a photocopy of an answer script are required to pay Rs. 300 per answer script.

The prescribed fee has to be deposited through online payment modes. The notification lists options including credit/debit cards, UPI and net banking, among the available methods for depositing the required amount.

Collection of Photocopies of Answer Scripts

JKBOSE has stated that notices regarding the collection of photocopies of answer scripts will be uploaded on its website in a phased manner.

Students will be required to collect the photocopies of their answer scripts from the concerned Secrecy Sections of the JKBOSE Head Office at Rehari Colony, Jammu-Tawi.

The collection of the photocopies will be carried out according to the schedule uploaded by the board. Students are required to follow the prescribed schedule and produce proof of payment of the applicable fee when collecting their answer scripts.

The notification also advises applicants to regularly visit the JKBOSE website for updates concerning the schedule for obtaining photocopies after submitting their applications.

Students Must Follow the Collection Schedule

JKBOSE has specifically directed that no student should visit the board office for collecting answer scripts without following the schedule prescribed for the collection of photocopies.

This means that students who submit applications for photocopies should wait for the board to upload the relevant collection schedule and should visit the concerned office only according to the date and instructions provided by JKBOSE.

The arrangement has been outlined in the official notification issued by the board and is applicable to the eligible candidates covered under the notification.

Who Is Not Eligible?

The notification also clarifies that candidates who have been disqualified, or whose examination or paper has been cancelled, are not eligible to submit forms for photocopy or re-evaluation in the respective subject or subjects.

Candidates should therefore ensure that they fall within the eligibility conditions mentioned by JKBOSE before submitting an application for either service.
